Wild Flowers in Winter

This flower is named after the beautiful city of Mysore. It is called the Mysore Mallow. It grows wild in all the vacant plots here. You can see the bee in the flower if you click on it.
The white trumpet flowers of the Datura are originally from the Americas. You can see the lovely trumpets in most vacant sites.

The Belly-ache plant Jatropha gosypifolia has pretty red flowers. It is often mistaken for the Castor oil plant. It is also toxic, but not as much as the Castor.

The wild Brinjal has edible fruit, which is supposed to have many medicinal uses.
